In a circle,
Surrounded by dark phantoms,
Burns a radiant Light
That cannot be diminished;

Without this Light
The phantoms could not be seen
And if gone
Only darkness would exist —
The impossible appearing possible.

This seems to be all life is —
Uncertainty,
The same unknown to the other;
Seeking for what was never lost
In fantasies of caliginous form;

Behold the other
As cause unjust or unfair,
Clouds of guilt urge retribution
For attacking its edifice of fantasy;
And what is fantasy
But an eidolon hiding dark intent
Calling for its own destruction;

For what has not been done
Is kept separate from Truth,
Its truth hidden by the desire
To hold apart from everything else;

A specialness
That Truth does not know;
A difference that sets apart —
Apart from what?

Unto itself is its specialness;
Intensely alone,
Intensely cherished,
Where guilt and revenge are loved and feared alike.

Here
Darkness,
In varying shades of death,
Insinuate truth of life;
Where else can the Innocent hide from guiltlessness?

Thus, retribution for a self loathed
Is molded into a form
Vengeance can be hurled upon.

Break through the veil of clouds
Where Truth Is Innocence,
And what has not been done
Is revealed in the Light
Of Its own Innocence;

This Light extends beyond sight to Itself,
Overlooking all else,
And restores Vision to the blind —
To see only what can be Seen in the Light,
And not see what cannot be Seen at all;

What is grievance to Innocence
But a lesson unlearned;
What is Freedom
Except to learn the lesson.

The Memory of Perfection,
Knows Itself Innocent and Free;
Here the world is transformed
From enemy to brother,
From hate to welcome,
From fear to Love.

"Not how I would see it,
But how the Light within would See it."
