A limit on Love;
A fence to protect against freedom,
Surrounds a little garden.

This little garden is fenced off from the rest
Where Everything enters not
But what is agreed upon;
Love,
Traded like tiny drops of water,
Barely able to keep a dry and thirsty desert alive,
Enters only by permission.

For the whole of Love
Would gently transform this desert
To a garden without fences;

A place of refuge
Where the dry and thirsty are replete
And nothing is withheld;

A garden of peace and welcome,
Where Love is fearless
And free to be all that It is.
