And the future is without mercy;
Salvation from a self unwanted,
To save that which is hated,
Is given as a gift of love.

Thus imagined needs clasp love guiltily —
Unloved, unwanted, in unheld emptiness.

Look out and see the world offered to the forgiven;
Fresh, clean and bright,
Leading up the stairway climbed down
By dark unforgiven dreams.

What was believed true
Is found gloriously false;
Once an enemy now a blessing
Is a lesson of Love
Where Wholeness knows Itself.
